Your right, they do limit goflers on the old course to below certain handicaps, for men its 24 or below and women its 36, you need to be able to prove your handicap with a certificate, and they will throw you off if you are hacking up the course. Although I've seen them throw people off the course in reality it doens't happen that often.

The limits used to be a lot lower but they've opened it up a little now.

I'm impressed even attempting to golf in our recent weather. I can't even persuade my husband to go to the driving range just now, never mind get out on the course.
