i saw this movie in theatres and i'd recommend it to anyone (even non-golfers). there's a lot of golf in the movie but it's integreated into the plot line well.

my favorite part was seeing him throw his clubs and swearing after hitting a bad shot. now every golfer can relate to that feeling.

that was also probably one of my favorite parts of the movie. why don't pro golfers dress like they did back then anymore????

maybe because wearing a tie isn't the most comfortable thing in the world and if they allow polo shirts, you might as well wear them. personally, i like the style in caddyshack much better. bright colored shirts with different color pants. it seems that style is in right now, too as if you go to the polo store, it's stocked with clothes that remind you of the 70's/80's.

i have heard reports from people who have seen it and they say it is o.k but still it could be better

bobby jones is certainly a different type of golf movie from caddyshack which is kind of the standard bearer for golf movies. it probably won't win an oscar for best picture but i thought it was entertaining and if you're an avid golfer, you should probably go out and see it.
