Which is your favorite hole in golf i know there are so many. My favorite hole is the 17th at St Andrews the road hole it is an awesome test of golf even after the tee shot you have a green that falls away to the road and a large pot bunker at the front of the green what a test...
But I would have to say #17 at my Home Club Blue Springs in Acton Ontario Canada. Ur are pretty high up, about 60' up ort so, hit a p wedge over water to a green surrounded by trees with a bunker infront and behind. **** nice hole though!! :nodsmiley

I have a few holes I've played that stick in my mind. One is at a course I play about once a year near here...not the greatest conditioned course but it's really fun and cheap, and some of the views make it worth the fees alone. It's a 150 yard par 3 but has easily 100 feet of drop. You can either hit a half wedge and hope you fly it the perfect distance to get it to land on the green oe chip it down there and hope it bounces between the cartpaths and not on them or you're in the junk over the green. Here's a pic of the hole (that's the view from the forward tee):
Also, a view from the tee: Link
Another of my favorite holes is a 165 yard par 3 on another local course. It's ringed by a bunch of ancient oaks and has a sand trap short left which creats a decent sized hump in the front left of the green. It just fits my eye perfectly.
My favorite hole of those I've never played is the 18 at Pebble Beach.
Nope wazman, I generally go with the chipping option. PW and try to land it short of the first cart path and hopefully it just trickles down onto the green. Flew it on last time I played with a half-SW. Too scary, I won't be doing it again.
My favorite hole to watch... #17 at Sawgrass. Terrified pros crack me up.
Favorite to play? #3 at Tyoga Country Club, Wellsboro, PA. Tee to fairway elevation drop of about 100 feet, then about a 170 yard shot into a green guarded by a pond and multiple bunkers. Beautiful...
I have a picture that I took on that hole as wallpaper on my computer at work that is almost identical to the one you found; even the same time of year. I only get to play that course once or twice a year, but it's always a treat.
