Four weeks ago I had Quadruple Bypass Heart Surgury. I am wondering if anybody out there has gone through this and if so, how did it effect their golf game? Also how long did you wait before hitting golf balls. Doc wants me to wait until April.

Welcome to the forum Bob. If the doc say wait until April, I'd wait. Don't want to blow a tube or anything. Watch the Masters, then give it a rip. Good luck, be careful.

Good luck with your recovery 7wood and welcome to GR. I was paired with a guy who'd gone through the same procedure as you a couple years back. It was his 1st time out since and about 2 & 1/2 months after his surgery and he tired towards the end of our 18, but I remember him expressing surprise at how well he'd done. As a fellow Michigander, I'd say it's beginning to look like we all may have to wait until April before getting out there again... another 6" of snow here today. Take care.

Thanks for the info. Before the surgury I got tied towards the end of 18. I am looking for that to improve as the summer moves on.

My wife shoveled that 6 inches of sunshine and she is 71. Good woman.
