day at the range I would like to forget

last night I left my bushnell yardage pro range finder at the driving range, did not realize it untill today when I went back to the range and looked for it to scope out lob wedge yardages. It was not in the bag, in the car, nor did anyone turn it in. It is a sick feeling knowing you just lost a $300 piece of equipment and you cant afford to replace it

Ack! The most I've ever lost at the course is a good pair of $100 sunglasses, never turned in either. Just hope someone has the decency to return it.

Best of luck man.

It is ashamed that we play a gentlemens game but there are some that can not be a gentlemen and turn in lost items they find on the course or driving range. I have over the years found clubs that folks have left behind I always pick-up with the hopes that whoever lost will backtrack or I will leave at the club house. I would expect the same from others but that is something that a lot of times does not happen.

Same here, you'd think that people would some some form of kiindness but I seldom see it. I lost a 7 iron on the course and it was never turned in. Come on, what are you gonna do with a random 7 iron?

Use it for a shiny tomato stake?
Cut it down and give to a kid?
Put it in my bag with the other random clubs I have?
Beat somebody with it with your prints on it?
Use it to chop weeds out of the yard?
Use it to hold up the hood of my old car while I'm checking the oil?

See? There are plenty of good uses for a random 7 iron --if you don't have any scruples.
