So while I was suffering from Cold - weather / snow induced golf withdrawal, I decided to go hit a bucket of golf balls at the driving range this afternoon. The weather wasn't too bad when I got there, cloudy and about 40-45 degrees. So I went inside and bought a bucket of balls, and I walk out of the golf shop, and it's suddenly snowing...quite hard. What the ?
So I hit the bucket anyway, and right as I finished, that's right, the snow stopped.
Haha BDR you're making me feel real good lol. I can honestly say I haven't been actually sun - burned in a long time, I just don't seem to burn, it's actually quite nice. Maybe I don't burn because There's No Sun! lol
Alright, well, if you're ever in Texas, give me a shout, maybe we can get a round in or something.
"time to mouth south"?
I've heard that Texans are the "mouth of the South" and I know that Southerners have a bit of a drawl, but if I moved down there, would I really have to "mouth south" too?
Hey, if I could play golf year round, I'd talk any way you want me to.
Kinda hate to say it also, but today was 84 and absolutely gorgeous!!! Sorry folks, but come on down below the Mason Dixon, and you won't have to mess with that frozen rain...
Over here, I'm just hoping to play before May! Actually, the snow typically doesn't last past the 1st of April, and I expect that it will warm up here soon and the snow will melt off.
I'll be out there within the next 2 weeks hopefully. The temps are gradually rising, but there's still a lot of snow everywhere. I can't wait to try out the new sticks. So far I've just been putting with the Odyssey 2-ball in my basement and it feels great.
Nebraska has some really weird weather also. Just last week It was in the 50-60s. Now this week it is going to be in the 30-40s with a chance of snow!.
