first day on the course

Went to the local course today, after spending the last 2 weeks on the range trying to get my swing back. I shot a 95 wich I pretty proud of. I was shooting in the 80's over two years ago before I put them up and quit playing. I think I'm headed to the course again tomorrow. I could do so much better if I could get better control of my irons. Some things you just can't learn on the range. I'll let you guys know how I do tomorrow when I get back, I think I've been bit buy the golf bug again.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Just last week I came off my seven month layoff. While not quite as long as 2 years it was long enough. All the little things that took me forever to get down were gone. It will probably take me 7 more months to get where I was before.

Hopefully when you typed "buy" the golf bug, it wasn't to much of a Freudian slip. Before long you will be BUYing a new putter and BUYing a new bag and so on and so on...

Hey Caddyshackgolf , come down to Maryland , we have been having some descent weather in the last week , good enough to get out to the links!I just got out this week(I tore the ligaments in my left hand , was out for awhile ) And it felt good,I have only played on a course a total of seven times , but I got such a good feeling standing on that first TEE!

I did not catch that. Spell check can only do so much, guess I should proof read

Funny thing is, I did buy a new golf bag and a powerbilt putter but I still play the same old powerbilt tps irons and woods. I love my irons but I realy could use a good set of woods. I am slicing **** my driver.
