I'm sure I'll get around to it. Actually I was thinking about doing it this summer. I took my family skiing at Treetops a couple of years ago. With a non-playing spouse & 2 kids, golf vacations haven't really been part of my life, so far. Actually there are a lot of great courses here in Michigan.... Oakland Hills would be the only one in my top 10, though.

This is my top ten played - some are well known, others are hidden gems.
1. Tulfarris (Ireland)
2. Gramacho (Portugal)
3. La Manga North (Spain)
4. Gleneagles Queen's course (Scotland)
5. Druid's Glen (Ireland)
6. La Manga South (Spain)
7. Gleneagles King's course (Scotland)
8. Penina (Portugal)
9. Pinta (Portugal)
10.City West (Ireland)

I have found that often my most enjoyable rounds have been on hidden gems rather than famous courses - Our day at Penina championship was very much spoiled by their haughty attitude, so I don't particularly have a list of courses I want to play. I do think I should get my act together and go play the old course though, as it is just 45 minutes from my house.
