What is "O" town scoring?

My mens league has a tournament posted for a couple of weeks away.
Quote:
Two person best ball with combined “O” Town scoring. Teams determined by blind draw, one low handicap, one high handicap. $20.00 per person, KP’s included.
What is "O" Town scoring? I know what Callaway scoring is, Stableford scoring, but no clue as this "O" Town thing.

Well I know "O Town" is a boy band..... But "O" Town scoring is new to me.... I would like to know also...I googled it and didn't come up with something....

Edit: Maybe it's a local thing. The only mention of "O" Town scoring I found was on the website for a course in Orting....

In the thousands of events I have run and all of the books I have, I have never heard of it either and neither has any of the other professionals here.

The funny thing is, when we DO find out what it is, EVERY region will know what the format is but under a different label.

Now I am going to have to ask the league dude. Not exactly my favorite guy at the club. Maybe I will find one of the older cats and ask them. Actually, I'll just skip the tourney and not worry about it. Probably has something to do with that new math they are teaching kids now a days

Well I didn't even think of that. The town closest to the club, with a population of about 47 is a little burb called Orting(I need a smiley that says DUH) It probably has something to do with that. I can't believe that one didn't just jump up and bite me. Nice work detective.
