Whats the price differnece? I think the noodles are $20 a box and what about the pinnacle Exceptions. THe noodles also almost play like the Pinnacle Power Distance.
At Dick's Sporting Goods, the regular price for Pinnacle Exceptions is $17.49 for a dozen balls. I was recently able to buy them at Dick's on sale for $12.49.
I'd buy the Noodles at Dick's whenever they were on sale, 2 dozen for $19.99.
I got some holes in last evening, and now feel fairly confident in stating that Pinnacle Exceptions have more feel and softness than the Noodles, and there is no loss of distance, and that the Exceptions may be even longer than the Noodles with a good strike.

Catch a pinnicle exception just right & you can feel & see just how good they are. This is also why I prefer them over Titleist PTS So/Lo, which comes close, but the exception is simply better for my game & has more visible softenes & feel
All said & done the Noodles I've used are a nice ball & I wouldn't refuse playing them, certainly better feel than the Wilson Staff Dx3's I've been trying out the last few days. I've been trying the Wilson staff balls due to the odd & very shallow dimple design. Interesting experiment. may have to try the dx2's & Dx4's as well though before discounting the range entirely.
All thisa is concreting how good the exception seems to be over most balls on the market, per pound
I play these balls very often and while I do like them, they are not as crisp as feeling as the ProV1 (obviously) but they are worth playing. I can get it to stop pretty well with short irons but it's probably not going to come back for you. Overall, good but a little too soft of a feel for me.
I used these balls for a while and they did decently for me. Had a good feel and definitely soft. I usually tore up three or four of them a round.
However, I just switched to the Titleist NXT and hit that ball quite a bit further, regularly. For a good ball at nice price (wal-mart has these for cheap) I'd say it's a good, if it's distance you crave, maybe a different ball is for you.
Great ball for the money. I use the Long and soft version. There are 3 choices with these balls. Find the one that suits you and you will be happy. Better than average distance and excellent feel.
I played this ball alongside the Nike Mojo and my conclusion is the Mojo is a gimmick. Love the look of it, but hate the way it plays.
Maxfli Noodle is the best ball I have ever played, however I can't justify the cost of a Titleist or Nike One (Over $100 a dozen in Australia). I found the Noodle to be very straight unless you really tried to draw or fade.
I personally didn't have a problem with the spin, but the rough was cut very short (corporate day)
I love the noodle. You can even get a 24 pack of the "P" marked balls at Walmart and there is no difference in the play of them.
I also won a lot for 24 Noodle Ice off ebay. Noodle Ice is a great great ball. I love playing it more than the normal noodles. It was a good think that the balls were the clear white ones and not the pink ones...hehe.
I played this ball quite a bit one summer and liked them a lot. Good distance and ok iron spin. Stopped playing them after I found the Pinnacle Exceptions, then the Srixon AD-333.
I still love these balls when I play in the early spring and late autumn. Fairly long off the tee, nice and soft off iron shots and a bit of check on pitches and chips. It's not a ProV1, but it's not priced to compete with them. It's a great 2nd tier ball!
