Interesting ball, claimed to be somewhat softer than most, comes in three differnt varieties, from regular, to soft & back to a slightly harder ball.
The regular one has an explosive takeoff, fairly low spinning in action, but can be miss hit, though without the usual resultantwhooshing sound of a high spinning ball.
Could be better around the greens, but does have some feel to it. Worth considering, where you want a few extra yards of roll & are prepared to do without a little control on short shots & on the green.
My favorite ball for the past couple months...Long and Soft makes a believer out most novice golfers(like me and the guys I play with). Has a lot of spring off the clubface and pretty nice control when played right. I like them a lot, and for the price, you can't go too far wrong.
I liked the noodle but found it to be very soft (scrap and cut easily) and short on distance. I have switched to the Callaway HX Hot which I really like. Super distance and pretty good around the green.,
Excellent ball, just need some spin on the **** ball! Grean for those narrow and straight courses/holes!!
I'll agree with that. The Noodles are decent balls, but often don't spin very much, especially out of any kind of rough.
I'm now testing out Pinnacle Exceptions, and they seem to have a softer feel. It's definitely noticeable in the difference in sound between Noodles and Exceptions.

I play them in all my practice rounds. They are a decent ball and a great value. My only downer is the spin rate from the rough. Our greens around here are very hard and with a waward tee shot hitting the green and having it stop is not an option.

Whats the price differnece? I think the noodles are $20 a box and what about the pinnacle Exceptions. THe noodles also almost play like the Pinnacle Power Distance.
I played a round with a Noodle Tour that I found, it was great, alot softer than the regular noodle. Very quiet off the putter, which was a bit wierd, but performed terrificly around the greens.
These aren't the balls I usually play, but I have played them and really liked them. I purchased a large quantity of Callaway balls last year and still have about 8 dozen of them left, but if I was in the market for balls, the Noodle would be right there in contention. And for about $20 a dozen they are pretty easy on the wallet.
