Picked these up a couple weeks ago at the local club store for about $25 for 2 doz. They are harder than the ball I usually play but perform well. I was looking for a ball that's reasonably priced that also performs well and these do the trick.

Funny thing is that I was not able to research these on the Titleist website.

And you probably never will be able to.
This is what I get from a friend who works in the pro shop over at Twin Bridges: The Titleist HVC Distance SF is a ball made specially for high volume retailers. Wal-Mart, Target, etc. have them, but they aren't readily available to pro shops.
My personal experience: Used 'em, hated 'em, won't buy any more of 'em.

THis ball felt like a Titleist HX... No alot of spin but long off the tee. I'm generally long off the tee so I don't mind giving up some distance for greenside control.
