I found one of these on the course a couple of weeks ago, and finally played it. The distance is fantastic for a wound ball - very long. I was getting 280-290 yards with the temp in the low 60's. It also has fantastic feel, and a durable cover.
Anyone else tried this ball? If so, what's your opinion of it?

It's another ball I play in the fall, when the leaves make a ball right down the fairway impossible to find.Dick's sells them for $7 a doz at times.

I've been thru 2.5 dozen. They are a good ball when its cooler, but when it gets warm the distance seems to disapear. For 7 to 9 dollars for a dozen its a good ball for my son to learn with. I'd buy more just for that reason. Seems to putt ok and does get a decent spin around the greens.

I found one of these too. I played a bit with it, lost it now. Seemed OK, but nothing exciting about it.
