Re: TaylorMade TP Red & Black Golf Ball Review

I have tried them both. I would really like to like playing them but not here. They do feel like a harder ball. The #1 downfal for me is the scuffing with just one hit. For $40 you think they would wear better.
Though I was told at the shop that it will happen for they have a very soft cover

The TM balls are OK. They don't seem to be longer or spin more than a ProV. They wear about the same. If I had a Taylor Made endorsement deal, I guess I'd play them but since I don't, I won't.

Re: TaylorMade TP Red & Black Golf Ball Review

I have been playing both kinds all summer. I notice the difference in both and find them to be a very solid ball. I don't spin the ball very well, however I can get the Red's to sit very nicely for me. I recommend them to anyone who is thinking of trying them.

Re: TaylorMade TP Red & Black Golf Ball Review

I noticed that the red lasted longer than the pro v.... I can get 2-3 rounds off a taylormade red, compared to maybe 1-maybe 2 off the pro v.... "if I dont lose it first .. lol " The pro v just dont seem to hold its shape. They both feel very soft compared to a top flite, thats for sure...
