Re: Nike Power Distance Super Soft Golf Ball Review
I played this ball almost exclusively last year as it fit my game pretty well. I was looking for a long, soft, and somewhat forgiving ball. IMHO it is the best ball in its price range. It feels great off every club and holds its line pretty well.
The other thing that I liked about the ball vs other two piece distance balls (ie Srixon Soft Feel) is that you can spin it into the greens with anything from an 8 iron and down. I'ma high ball spinner and have even spun this ball back a few feet on numerous occasions. Something that I wasn't able to do with the Soft Feel.
Would definitely recommend this ball if you are on a budget or a mid-high handicapper. Can't beat it.
Re: Nike Power Distance Super Soft Golf Ball Review
Great inexpensive ball - stops exceptionally for an inexpensive ball. Nice feel. I play on courses with a lot of hazard, losing 1 or 2 balls per round - worse if not hitting the ball well. Play pro-v1's in tourneys or if I'm not hitting it real well.
Re: Nike Power Distance Super Soft Golf Ball Review
I have been a PV1X only player for the last two years. I tried this ball tonight for the first time and actually thought it played better than the PV1X. I dont think in all my years of playing I have felt a better ball from 7iron and in. I play my club 2-3 times a week and know all the spots I hit to good and bad. I can say for me I noticed no loss in distance but gained tons of feel on wedge shots and even felt better off the putter. I usually bought PV1X X-Outs for $24.99 a dozen, grabbed the Nikes at Walmart for $15.00. I honestly think this is my ball for a long time untill something better comes..WOW
