Thanks! Maybe I'll grab a box of those and give them a try.
You most definitely should, I think this ball is every bit as good as the Pro-V1, probably closer to the Pro-V1x (just my feeling) - also, one to try a sleeve of three of is the Maxfli Black Max, very similar in feel & performance to the aforementioned, but seems not to pick-up the scuffs the same - this could be because the Callaway HX Tour has raised edges on the hex dimples.
A little different swing on to this question, don't mean to thread jack, but can't resist. What is the deal with all these expensive balls? I saw the new TaylorMade balls on golfsmith.com for $43.00 a dozen!!! Give me a break, if I could afford to pay $3.50 per ball, I wouldn't be playing Adams clubs either I guess, but when it costs more to buy a dozen balls than it does to play a round of golf, that is a little ridiculous to me...

Warbird = LONG off the tee + very little spin on the greens.
I won't say I like the ball, but I don't hate it. During the summer, if the greens are soft, I'm apt to pull one out and play it. They're decent, but why pay a Callaway price for Top Flite performance?
I'm using Warbirds exclusively and have been for 8 months or so.
Driving from the tee consistently seems straighter and farther vs when I change balls for sake of change. The Bird is definately hard and makes a lot of noise off the driver face. Price isn't bad either at about $15/doz (Nevada Bobs).
The ball does seem to hold together well, no tearing or cutting from my experience.
Like others, I suspect it is a rebadged Top-Flite...but it's working for me at this point, no reason to change it.
The ball is horrible, worse than the Target house brand (yeah, tried em)...the club was really good, inspired me to buy the Big Bertha which was supposedly designed with the Warbird in mind but plays nothing like it...
