My favorite ball is the Titleist ProV1. However, I tried the Srixon Zurs. I found it longer off the tee, longer off irons, but Less spin on pitch and chip shots than the ProV1. It felt firmer off the putter face. ( I like the ProV1 feel better.) I was able to keep the Srixon in play off the tee better because it has less side spin than the Pro. The middle and short irons into the greens were satisfactory. I played the last three days at Myrtle Beach with the Srixon to really give the ball a good test. Only once was I disappointed. That was on pitch to a pin on a green that sloped away from me. Since I struck the ball purely and landed it where I felt I needed to land it, I believe in this case that a Pro V1 would have rolled less. To date this is the best alternative to the ProV1 for me. I am still looking at the TAYLOR MADE red and black. Would like some other opinions.
the zurs is a good ball, but not great. It depends what price you can get them for. If you can get them for $30 a dozen, then I would say go for it. But I would not pay the same price for that ball as I would for a Prov 1 or a Nike One, or even a Hex tour 56
I have been playing the Z-UR for awhile now and tried the Z-URS before that. It is a good ball, just didn't perform as well as the UR for me. I can't wait to try the Z-URC, I should have 3 dozen in my hands by Friday
was a Srixon dealer for a year, I let the customers decide on the quality of the ball by the feedback they supply me with. Overall opinions are the SRIXON balls play shorter than the Callaways or Titlist balls.

Please give me your experiences with the ZUR`S. Yesterday I went to a golf shop. The pro was a U of Memphis player and a Canadian Tour player. (former)
He put me on the launch monitor. We compared four ball types, Srixon ZURS, PRO V1, HX TOUR 56, AND TAYLORMADE RED. For my swing (80-90mph, r7TM, 10.5* 68yrs) the ZURS AND Taylormade had far less spin, but no significant difference in distances except with HX TOUR (less). Correction: Nike Platinum was included. No change in results.
Srixon has some of the best balls on the market. The gentleman that was a seller of these balls listed above, has poor customer feedback. These are most friendly golf balls for your average golfer out there.
That being said, I will 100% agree with what the other gentleman said about the price points. If you pay $40, you might as well go with a Pro V1 or a Bridgestone... If you pay $30, GO FOR IT ALL DAY LONG!!!
I did like these balls but prefer the Z-URC which I find spins a lot more. Personally, using the ZUR-S I found to have more feel on long shots than something like the Pro V1 but not so much feel around the greens - but the ZUR-C remedies that.
All in all though - a good ball. I didn't notice any distance loss.
Agreed. THe URC is an amazing ball. I am on staff with Srixon and love every product they have, especially their wedges. Best on the planet. Will put up against anyother out there.

So why do you use Bridgestone balls instead of Srixon balls?
Because I have a seperate contract with Bridgestone. I have Irons, bag and Wedges with Srixon, Ball with Bridgestone. No contract on my woods... YET!
Srixon not interested or offer not tempting enough? I see you are using a Nickent hybird - have you tried the new srixon hybrids with the weights in the back? I have one and think it is magic
