Has anyone tried the new ball and how does it compare to the last generation Pro V.

I picked up a sleeve of the new Pro V1 (not X) a couple of weeks ago. I can't tell the difference between it, and the 06's. Of course, I couldn't tell the difference between the 06's, and 05's either, so take that for what it's worth.

The way the older versions performed last season and I played with them last season successfully, I dont think I see the reason to buy the newer version.

its the exact same. ive found 3 this year. (i dont search for balls. they are just in the fairway) =)

cant tell a difference from this year or last year or the year before.

Besides the improved putting line on the ball, they are the same...
