I started playing the Nike One Black about three months ago and find it comparable to the Titleist Pro V1 which I used to play. If anything it seemd more durable.

Haven't hit the Platinum, but here's my quick comparo for the Black. IMO: feels and plays ( distance and spin into the green ) very, very much like Srixon Z-UR and Maxfli Black Max. Feels alot harder than Bridgestone B-330 and the Pro-V1 both around the green and off the tee. One thing that did really stick out to me was that the Black seemed to have condiderably less side-spin off the driver than the others I mentioned. Left to right movement was much more subtle.

The Black is the longest ball I have ever hit. Around the greens it plays like the PV1x....The best ball I have ever hit is the Platinum. The new Platinum's are a little longer then the older ones.

The word "black" refers to the model of nike one golf balls not color, now if you are referring to the actual "special Edition" nike BOB golf ball, i would imagine that they are a little harder to find.
