I've played the D2 Feel for three rounds now. Good distance off the tee, nice feel off the irons. Doesn't spin too bad either (not as well as a Pro V1, but hey it's a buck a ball!). It's also got a durable cover, I played two rounds with one.
The big surprise for me was putting -- it felt very solid off the putter face for me and always rolled true.
For a ball you can get for $15/15 pk., they are a great bargain ball! Definitely not a "Top Rock".
Agree with the comment about putting - really nice and surprisingly so
I have been using the "feel" version for a month (about 7 rounds) and this is definitely a new kind of Top-Flite ball. Absolutely nothing even compares to it in the price range and not many do even in a price $10 bucks higher.
These are a really good ball for the money, they do feel good with the irons. But hey ive always said the top flite XL, the ones that are around 5 years old, are the best tee ball there is. It stays straight and has mad distance.
I will also say they are really good balls for the money. I played the D2 Feel and gave it 4 stars. At that price point, I would give it 5 stars because you won't find a much better ball for a buck each.
For a new golf ball, it's price range, it's unmatched. These balls are great! peronally, I have played the D2 for 2 rounds, and because of my low skill level, I don't notice a difference between them, and the 50 pack of used ProV1s I got. Both are much longer off the tee than the other balls I used, and much softer around the greens. Top Flight is Tops with these balls in my book. (actually, call it a short story, not a book..;> )
I think there alright. I they dont have quite the feel of a hx tour or pro v1 but hey; a buck a ball you cant beat it; for anyone who hasnt got some go try them.
this is my ball. Good distance, great feel! Perfect combination of carry/roll on short shots. Dont spin so much that you leave chips short or back up the ball, but they dont bound over the green either. These balls will be my goto ball for a while.
I just played a sleeve and I am also a convert. The D2 flies as well as many golf balls and the feel version is fine for the short game. You cannot find a better value than this in the ball market.
I want to try the distance version to see if it flies further. I expect to see the dimple in a dimple technology in the Callaway HX balls very soon.

I'm sure you'll se more distance from them. You will lose feel and accuracy though.
The distance balls have a slick coating on them which will get you the extra yds you're looking for,
but 100 yds and in you will not be happy... unless you're a hack and can't tell the difference.
I bought a box of d2-feel and although I have used them I haven't decided yet how I feel about them.
I am making this post to point out that they sell a 3rd 'straight' version of the d2 also. I wonder how well that one lives up to its billing for the average hack-slicer!
