Re: Taylormade Burner Golf ball

The Burner and Burner TP just showed up at my local Wal-Mart, 19something for the Burner and 24something for the TP model. I'm going to pick up a box of each to try out next week.

Re: Taylormade Burner Golf ball

I bought a dozen of the regular Burners today, but it will probably be 2 weeks before I get to "field test" them.

I'm loving the TP balls (non-Burner). The X-Outs were $20 a dozen. The Burners should be long if nothing else.

I read the burner tp balls were the softest ball taylor made makes, even softer then the tp's.

Re: Taylormade Burner Golf ball

The Burner -TP is a great ball. As for the standard burner I wasn't initially very impressed, but as a half decent everyday ball, you can't go far wrong.

But I think the reason I like the Burner - TP is that its essentially using a similar makeup to the Maxfli Fire I've been using for the past two seasons. Its just a pity the TaylorMade varient is 5 to 9 quid more expensive than my usual favorite.

Re: Taylormade Burner Golf ball

I have tried the burner tp and like it.

It is long and great in the wind. It will not stop like the prov1x I was using, but since I hit the ball hit off the irons, it stops okay for me.
