Bridgestone B330 RX

I expected more from these balls. Anyone else tried them?

Re: Bridgestone B330 RX

I thought they played as well as my usual Srixon-ZURS's with less cover scuffing by my wedges with recently refinished grooves.

Re: Bridgestone B330 RX

I tried them and liked them but actually I am really enjoying the new E7. Two players in my group have changed to them, one from Pro V1X and the other from B-330S, they both love them.

I hated the B330-RX. Felt like mush, and I lost some 10-15 yards just with my irons, and the driver was hopeless. Yet Bridgestone's B330 is maybe the best ball I've ever played. At 95-100 mph, my swing speed is theoretically correct for the RX, but of the 3 Tour balls by Bridgestone (B330, B330-S, and B330-RX), the B330 is rated at the highest swing speed, but it's the best performer for me in all categories, and I tested all 3 balls today.

It happens to me as well except mine is PV1. Everything tells me I should play PV1 but I get more distance and play better with PV1x. Go figure how much they know..

Re: Bridgestone B330 RX

I like the B330-S the best. I actually love the Bridgestone balls. The RX felt more like a Nike Juice coming off the face of the driver....

I also found alot more spin then I thought there would be. I really like the feel of these balls when I miss hit an iron shot. Like an off center 4 iron shot and I can still feel the ball compress. It's a good ball I think I will continue playing for a while.

Re: Bridgestone B330 RX

I too expected more from this ball. I lost yardage off the tee. I would hit 250 - 270 at the range but only about 225 on the course. Drove me nuts. Like the feel to the green, but...
Went to the Srixon AD333 and that ball has distance. Nice feel to the green also.

Re: Bridgestone B330 RX

I just ebayed 3 dozen B330 RX's, after finding one and playing it for a round. I loved the ball, it fit my game well and was the longest ball I have played to date. I found it especially stable in windy conditions. Bye Bye Pro Vs.
