What is there to review. There is no questiont that it is the best ball out there. If it wasn't then 90+% of all pros wouldn't use it. Titleist sets the example for all other equipment companies to follow. In the end you just can't beat them. Of course if you don't want to pay a small fortune on golf balls each year, or you have a slow swing speed then there might be a better ball or you (i.e. Noodles).
Yeah Pro V1s are great balls, but price and durability is definetely an issue. In addition many average golfers would benefit more from a less pricey ball like the Mojo or DT solo, just like Allen89 said
If your a good golfer playing in rounds that matter ie tornaments, outings, etc you have to use the Pro V1.
May i recomend ebay or golf shows or logo overuns to get a cheaper price
Buying refinished golf balls is like buying a used car. You never know what you're really getting, where it's been, or who's been driving it. For $10.00 more per dozen you don't have to worry about all those things.
I used to play the V1 a lot, but after a while, the fact that the V1s never retained a very bright white, got to me. I couldn't focus with them. So I started playing the x's, and they stay white. If it wasn't for that factor, I might still be playin the ProV1. Oh, but on the other hand, they spin so much, its really easy to slice.
I love the ProV. It's my favorite ball the only problem is i am a poor (broke) junior golfer so i can't always afford to play them. But in tournements they are the only ball i will use.
They're a nice feeling ball but I've found that they cut up way to easily for me.......probably my fault for not hitting the beggars right in the first place though
I love the Pro V1s. That said, I've never actually purchased one. They been gifts and found balls. I also question their durability, but so far, for me the price has been right.
I never really bought into the Pro V1 hype. I have found them, played with the ones I found and tossed them in my bag. After I have found 2 or 3 dozen, I would sell them on E-bay. Not anymore. I figured I should give these balls an honest run, and now I am torn. I am happy that I have seen the light on the way these ball perform, but upset that I haven't given them an honest try until now. I have a garage full of other balls, look for them soon on E-bay, but will start replacing them with the Titlelist ball so many of you love. I gave it a five star rating.
