These are the only two balls in the Titleist range that i havent used. Im content with Pro V1 or V1x though but i should give them a try though, who knows? They could be great for me?

NXT Tour. Impressed with this ball. Very good for distance and great to putt with. I find them so much better than the more expensive ProV1. Lack a little in the durability stakes but I think that is more reflective of the pricing. Great value.

A couple of weeks ago Golfsmith had these on sale for less than $20/dozen. I'm not sure if the Tour model was included. My guess is they were clearing these out for the "new" version of NXT balls. I picked up a dozen, and would have gotten more except for a small think like "golf budget." LOL

I have been playing the NXT Tour for awhile now. I am well satisfied with the spin on both long and short iron approaches as well as sand play. I can't compare it to the other popular mid price balls of the day TM Red/Black or the e5/e6 as I have not tried them "yet"

What most people don't seem to understand here is that the vast majority of players shound't be playing the balls that are played on tour. You should match yourself with a ball based on skill level. If you just go out and play Pro V1 because that's what the pros are playing, your prabably not going to get the best results possible. The NXT is a 2-piece ball meant for begginners and high-handicappers. The NXT Tour is a 3 piece hybrid for intermediate to advanced players. Pro V1 and Pro V1x are designed for highly skilled players who want the best touch around the green and don't really care about distance because they crush it off the tee anyway. They are high spin balls for players who can shape their shots. I don't know if you can or not, I'm just givin you the info.

I agree with 4-putts point on this matter. I have been playing the NXT Tour and I find it to be a decent ball for my level of play.
