I'm a sucker for a good deal, so I picked up 2doz. of these on sale for an upcoming trip to a golf course littered with hazards. After playing the Srixon AD-333 for a few weeks, I was pleasantly surprised by the Jack. It felt a little hotter off the tee and felt great around the greens. It's not the most durable ball out there, but will work really well for a lot of players. Easily my fave new "value" ball.
The only wilson ball Ive played are these and the staff tour pro. I didnt care for the jacks, except for the price and the staff were pleasantly soft off the irons
These balls are cheap and not too awful bad to beat around. To put it another way, you won't feel to bad hitting it into a pond...Give em a try if you're on a tight budget.
I got 2 doz and a cap at Sports Authority for $8.00. I am going to play a course with lots of canyons and water hazards so at least I won't mind losing them
They are a good distance ball for mid-handicap players and they don't feel "hard" the feel is acceptable around the greens and for putting because of the low compression.
I bought a couple of balls with the club crest printed on them later to discover they were jacks. I quite liked them, nothing fantastic but a solid performance and durable.
