Pinnacle Exception Golf Ball Review

Great ball for all handicaps! I've really been getting pretty good distance out of this ball and it really seems to be biting the greens. I especially like to putt with it, very straight. The ball dosen't feel like plastic, either. Everyone should give it a try.

This is presently the ball I use. I like it alot, better than any other Pinnacle ball. Long off the driver, and soft off the irons and putter.

Tyhey are more than the regular packs of Pinnacles, which usually come 15 to a pack. I get the Exception at Walmart for $21.00 a dozen. Worth every penny IMO.

I quite like these, normally play HX tour or V1X but these are pretty good, always use them if the course is wet

If it's muddy and you dont want to lose nice balls these are cheap and work well for the price.

I have been using this ball since it was introduced early last year.
It is identicle to the Titleist NXT.
I pay $24.95 cdn per dozen half the price of the Pro V1

I love this Golf Ball Long & Soft enough for around the greens, just enough release off a wedge.

Great ball for any handicap.

I just read the report at golfballtest.com, the original NXT-Tour and the Exception are quite similar in every performance measurement. The exception nudges the NXT Tour in driver distance, driver spin (umm... the Exception is longer AND straighter ), iron distance, spin and partial wedge spin (Partial wedge spin is the only category where the Exception creams the Titleist). The NXT-Tour has significantly more iron spin, the Exception matches the ProVx in this category. In all other categories they tie, except cover hardness (how a ball feels during chips, pitches, and putts), which is a matter of player preference.

I have played a lot of good rounds with the NXT-Tour while completely dismissing this ball solely because it was a Pinnacle. Let me see, better performance for 62% of the cost, hmm, only the Pentagon would take the Titleist.

Looks like I will be buying my first dozen pinnies.

I have played with these balls and have found that they are very solid. Found some on the course and played w/ them. This ball it fairly long, and putts well, too

If feel is an issue, you may be happier with the NXT Tour. I just did a test in my living room and the Exception definitely feels harder than the NXT Tour, at least to me.

Geez telluwhat, it sounds like you and your golf balls are pretty close, at least you had some privacy .
