Rate and Review Here. I've been using Titleist NXT Tour the last year and a half and I'm not real satisfied with the spin when I'm using my short to mid irons. If anyone could tell me what they think and another ball to compare it to I would greatly appreciate it.
You'll love them compared to the NXT. I've played both, and the U-Tri feels and acts like a premium ball. It's pretty long, but the spin on approach shots and the greenside feel are pretty nice. Better act quickly. though. Word is that the U-Tri series are going to be replaced by a similar ball under the Bridgestone moniker with a higher price point while the Precept line will be geared more toward the recrational player.
I found that these balls play pretty good, for the price. I play ProV1's, but used these when the leaves were on the ground at my muni, just for cash's sake... and they did act pretty nicely... they felt a little lighter off of the face though, compared to the prov's, and a little more flimsy, I guess I might say... but they flew for me!
absolutely love this ball. It is the poorman Prov1. It is same or little longer than the prov1, but not as soft, but much softer than the NXT. It's very durable. I played the whole round with two balls yesterday, and there's only 1 small scuff mark on one of them. Here is the little reviews from golfers.

I use the U-tri at my home course in non tournament play to save money, I also use the NXT and the U-tri bites the greens better, I only use pro-v1 during tournament play because of cost.

Which bridgestone is replacing the U Tri? Was given a sleeve of U Tri's and loved them. Can't find them anymore at the local shops...
i dont know if this is new or not, but I just bought a few dozen at Golfsmith
and they say Bridgestone on the bottom of the sleeve. They still have plenty in stock.
I think this ball became the XP3, which I've been playing and liking them. They feel just like the U-tri tour which was a nice ball, I thought. anyone else playing these?
Been using these for several rounds and I'm pretty happy with them. Great distance, good feel and it's easy to stick 'em on the greens. Longer than the Top Flite D2 Feel, feels better, and can't get the D2 to hold a green for love nor money. Of course you'll pay more for U-Tri's, but, the performance is worth it. (to me, anyhow)
Still very available at Wal-Mart, both online and my local stores.
