I recieved a dozen for X-mas and I felt they were a good ball for under $20. I thought the Mojo 1 were a little on the hard side. I just picked up the MOJO II at Dicks for $12 a dozen. I like the feel of the II better. Great value for a good ball.
Haven't tried the Mojo II yet - the original was a great ball. I played one a couple rounds ago (found a sleeve in the bottom of my bag- i bought these last summer)
Didn't lose it... distance is good, control is good, i could really spin it off my short irons, and the cover didn't scar until the 15th. 4 stars.
I agree that the Mojo balls are a great deal but i didn't like their durability. Sure i have hit cartpaths before, but with the mojo i was tearing the cover back. Ive never seen that with any other ball. Even a hit on a tree seemed to badly scuff the ball.... i like the looks of the cover though and they do have a great feel to them.
I used some Mojo yesterday and was impressed, I need to try some other high end balls to see if there is really a difference, there is a noteable difference between the Mojo's and the re-loads and x-outs I normally play.
I've switched to primarily playing the Mojo II. (13 handi) IMO not a better ball out for the price. If you play "both sides" of the fairway like me, the shiny cover is helpful in finding it.
Very durable for me...played one for 8 holes today before it took a funky bounce off a cinder block that was lining the cart path (i hit it there on purpose!), and it has nice solid feel that gives you that little bit of confidence. to me balls are balls, but I like the MOjo 2,
I am now playing out the box of Mojo's I bought to try. Can't wait till they are gone so I can go back to Volvik Chrystals. The Mojo's are not a bad ball but I don't think they feel as good or are nearly as durable.
I've played about 15 rounds with this ball and love it. It feels great off the driver, off the irons, and spins great on the greens on approach shots, pitches, or chips. It is hard to control than the ProV1 or the Platinum, and just check up as fast on approach shots from 140 and out but being that it's a $20 pack of balls it performs really well. One thing I have noticed is that I get about 10 yards more roll off a tee shot than with the other premium balls which is a nice little bonus.
I love the One Ball, Power Distance Super Soft, but absolutely despise the Mojo. Don't know why, but it just didn't do it for me.
My favorite ball is the Callaway HX Hot, which is a very affordable 3-piece.
I didn't find it that long or particularly soft. I think it's a little overrated primarily due to the fact that it is made by a flashy company, is well-promoted and has a clever, eye-catching name and box.
