I thought they felt like a rock when struck. Then again i think the same thing of the pro v which supposedly is a soft feel ball. So far I like the Platinum the best from Nike.
I picked up a dozen at Sports Autority last weekend. I liked the Mojo's but I will probably stick to playing a Maxfli Noodle. The Noodle feels better off the driver and irons. The Mojo's aren't soft enough for me. FWIW, I was driving both balls about the same distance.
I purchased 6 dozen AAAA Used balls off of ebay for $48 and absolutely love them. I shot my best score ever w/ the Mojo II's. I can't say that i've gained anything in my distance, but they do happen to stick well. It seems as though i get more loft with these balls, but then again in the last week i've gotten new irons and i've changed over to these balls so who knows. For the time being they have a permanent spot in my bag.
I also play NXT's but i think I like the mojo's even better. I need a couple more rounds to be sure.
I loved this golf ball, they were handing them out for free in this compition i was at a year ago i got myself a couple packs, but they seemed to like the bushes so theyre all gone now )-:
I bought a box of the Mojos a few days ago. I usually play the Nike One Platinum or ProV1x balls. For the price of $20 I think they are oretty good. Iron and wedge distance seems to be really good. Driver distance is o.k, but they feel a little hard coming off the club face. Would also like a little more spin on wedges. I had to adjust where I was landing the ball on the green with short chips and pitches. Pretty good stopping power on middle and short irons. I hit a 9 iron from 140 and it only rolled about 18 inches, 5 and 6 irons 10 and 15 feet respectively.
My box came with a gray Karma ball as well that was pretty cool.
Overall not bad at all for $20.
Over here in New Zealand we pay $75.00 for 12 Mojo's!! Total and utter madness.
I love the Mojo(especially the psycadelic box) in all aspects of golf, the only problem i have with it that takes my vote from eagle to par is the durability.
They seem to take quite a beating throughout a round but i think that occurs quite often in Nike balls. Doesn't stop me playing them
I'm a pretty big Nike Golf fan but I can honestly say that I very much dislike this ball. Almost hate it. I have a box of it and am actually happy when I lose some.
I don't like the feel off the driver. It feels aweful, doesn't sound good, and seems to be a high spin ball off the driver. The feel off the irons is also aweful as there is none. You cannot feel or control this ball very well with irons. They also do not hold greens or spin very well. Granted they look cool and have one cool colored ball in each box but they just don't perform...
I def would not recommend these balls, but would highly recommend the Nike Ignites and Nike PD Super Softs.
