MaxFli has some info and video on thier website. I bought a sleve yesterday and hope to get out tuesday and try them out. From what I here they are supposed to be better than the One Black
Got out Saturday to play with my new sleeve of Black Max. I paid $15 can. ($12US) for the sleeve. The ball felt very similar to the callaway HX red, maybe a little softer. Great distance off the tee and excellent feel and spin around the green. My only complaint is durability. I got six holes out of one ball, after several full wedge shots and one kick off a sprinkler head the ball was too scuffed. I played a Pro V1 for the back, and after 9 holes there are almost no scuff marks on the Pro V and I can probably get another 18 out of it. Thought the Black max was a great ball but a little pricey to get half a round at most out of one ball.
I played the Black Max and was very happy with it, similar to a V spun more than a Black or VX. These companies would do themselves a favor by pricing balls like this at 31.99 and try to market it as a cheaper alternative instead of going head to head with the big boys. Just my 2 cents.
I played this ball the other day and I was impressed. Felt great off the tee, good on approach shots and had a nice feel around the greens. I got a lot of spin out of it on short iron and wedge shots, not quite as much as a Pro-V1, but more than most balls.
Black Max is a great ball, started using them last year after my PRO v1 hook dried up.I was getting some great deals on ebay when buying 3 dozen at a time.Long ball, spins, workable and takes a beating-shot my lowest 3 rounds ever!
These are good balls. I recently was given one of these in a men's league tournament and bought a dozen a few days later. Quality golf ball. I was hoping that they were much cheaper than the Pro V1 X's, but apparently not.
Played the Black Max a couple of weeks ago. Perfect mid-range priced ball. Not a ProV1 or Nike One Platinum, but much better than your average NXT's or Mojo's. Personally, I found them in that void price range - not the $45-50/dz for the top shelf balls, not the $25-29/dz "regular" balls. Think I paid about $32/dz. Good spin, nice flight for me. I'll be putting it in my bag more often.
I really like these balls. Theyre long off the tee and hold the green pretty well. I recently picked these up for $19.99 a dz. My local golf store was having a sale and I couldnt resist and picked up a couple dz. They are almost as good as my Hogan Apex Tours.
