I actually received a few of these balls when I was at the Sony Open. I heard a lot of good things about the ball and played a round with it. My impression is that the ball is better suited for players with higher swing speeds. I don't think my swing speed is fast enough to take advantage of the ball so I didn't really like it but I know a few people who now swear by this ball.
I have reasonably high swing speed and I found these to be nice balls. Nice distance, but still enough forgiveness on the green. If you're lookin to go an alternate route from the pro v's, give 'em a chance.
I have about 120MPH swing speed and I played the ball when it was still a prototype. it was a bit too hard for my tastes, i felt as if i didn't have any kind of feel around the greens and on my long irons into the green. i'm like everyone else, tried many, but pro v1x still feels best to me.
From what I've heard, difference from the proto's that were out there..and the production model are HUGE...they are giving away free 2 ball samples right now..pretty nice to try for FREE
I tried these golf balls the other day out on the course. All i can say is that i think there just as long as the ProV1. I even let the pro at the course try them and he liked them alot.
i hit it today and it was a huge difference between this one and the prototype ball i played 6 months ago. i loved the way it felt comin off the club and it stuck pretty well around the greens too. thumbsup for the new b330.
I just got my free two pack in the mail and tried them out this weekend. I gave them a Par. They are long enough off the driver, ok for full shots with irons but I really didn't care for them around the green. I had trouble getting pitch shots to check up and it felt like it shot off the putter face like a rockflite. This won't be my first choice when buying a high end ball.
I second 3puttguy's review. I played 18 holes with my free 2 ball pack today and I have the same opinion. Off the tee you might not see much difference from any ball that you're playing now, but the short pitches, chips and specifically putting is where this ball falls short of the Titleist ProV1 that I currently play. Less spin of the wedges means less distance control for me and this ball hurt me today. It rolled out considerably farther than I expected the majority of the time on my short chips.
The biggest difference between this ball and my ProV1 was in the putting. The B330 has a hard "click" off the putter face and seems to jump off the putter. Speed control was certainly an issue. It's just a harder cover ball than the ProV1. That may be a selling point for some, but I expect better performance from a premium ball.
There are a number of better balls out there for the price and the B330 certainly won't find it's way into my bag.

WHAT, I can't believe you would even dare place another ball in your bag along with Mr. PV1. I hope Mrs.PV1 didn't notice.

stagday
Occasionally testing a new ball is my way of keeping "Mr. ProV1" on his toes! That method sure works for my putter. Every time I bring an old putter to the practice putting green, my regular putter always seems to take notice and starts dropping putts again! Usually just the threat of going back into the garage bag is enough to get my putter's attention! :nodsmiley
