Ahh my favriote ball. Let's see.
As far as distance I think the TA is right up there with the other premium balls. It's compairable to the PROv1, just not quite as long. It's very easy to work this ball seeing as it creates so much spin, the only downside is if you have a hook or a slice expect it to be magnified by about 2 or 3 times. Around the greens I feel this ball puts up a good fight for #1. As far as chipping it's very easy to control, and when chipping from the fairway or fringe, you can still create enough spin to get the ball to hop and then stop. This ball also putts extremly good, the only ball I think I have ever seen that putts better is the Wilson True. The only real negative I could find with this ball is the cover. Not very durable at all. If you have an agressive swing, a crisp wedge or sand shot normally will scuff the ball and if you can manage to use the same one for 18 it usually dosn't look as good at the end of the round as it did when you started.
Awesome ball, very durable. You got 2 dozen for 9 bucks? That's a steal!!!. Very good ball. I used one ball for 9 holes, and all that there was only 1 tiny scuff on it. Putts very well, also.
should have said $8.99 each dozen. I bought the TA TW ball. After playing them I can say I would not buy them again. I prefer the Cally black over these. I did not find them long, didn't stop very well on the greens, and putting was just ok. They are durable though, which is a plus over the pro v's and the cally.

The TW stands for Tiger Woods. This ball is a little harder and doesn't spin as much as the regular TA. This came out because enough said they wanted to play the same ball Tiger played (even though they don't have the swing speed to take advantage of it. They also came out with a DD (David Duval) version.
I do like the regular TA, it's a solid ball but not quite as soft around the greens as the current top of line balls.

I think I might already be playing these. I am no where near par, and sometimes it looks like I am just out there to enjoy the sunshine
i found that the original tour accuracy scuffed up pretty easily with iron shots it was very soft a was great for generating spin to hold the green
im not a fan of the ta2 though even though they dont scuff as easy i think they dont generate as much spin on aproach shots
