New Nike Pro Combos

I just picked up a set of Forged Nike Pro Combo, I am sure everyone knows how these are put together.
I played one round so far and shot 81, scrambbling to make pars, as a lot of my short Irons were coming up short.
It was very wet and raining last friday when I played.
I took the clubs to the range and again I feel the clubs are shorter than what my old clubs were ( Probably about 5-7 Yards )
Again though I was hitting range balls with these clubs.

They feel excellent, They have the Nike Speedster or Speeder shaft, Steel Stiff flex.

for the few times I have hit them, it seems that the blades the 8,9 & PW require quite a bit of care, hit them too thin you are in trouble and hit them too fat you are in trouble the leading edge tends to dig in quite easily.

does anyone else play these clubs, and if so how do you like them???????

Thanks

I have the 2004 models with the speedstep shafts (stiff). I don't care for those shafts and want to get them pulled and replaced with something heavier. I have the specs on a piece of paper and will post them if you need/want them.

I believe the lofts are slightly shorter than some of the more modern clubs, especially callaways, but irons are for accuracy, not distance, if I need more distance, I'll just go up a club. I like the heads, they feel excellent and are designed well. Well, that's my opinion.

Thanks for the specs, seems as though my old clubs are a little bit stronger on the lofts.

How much difference would 1 degree make on distance 3-4yards carry???

Thanks
