Advice please .....

I'm gonna treat myself to some new mp32's in the new year after hitting some at the range the last 3 or 4 times i 've been down there , i'm at least 5/10 yards further than my mx20's hitting the 6 iron about 180 with the 32's , now my dilemma is i've always owned irons with regular shafts but the one's i've been nailing at the range have got stiff shafts , do i go for the stiff or reg with the mp32's seems alot of money if i do go for the stiff and do not get on with them .

If you are hitting your 6 iron 180 then you should probably be in stiffs. Go to a fitter and have your swing speed measured. Most will recommend a correct shaft fitment for you.

If you've been working on your game and perhaps getting into better shape over the last few weeks/months you'll strike the ball better. Agree about the 6/180, sounds like you've moved from Regular into Stiff flex....don't be afraid to do it.

See if you can find a regular flex at the range and hit both that and the stiff. You'll get more distance out of the regular flex if you can control it. Most people start pulling if the flex is too whippy.

If you hit them well with stiff then stay with stiff. Who cares if you hit them well. What you have done is a shaft fitting with out a pro to help but bottom line if your hitting a stiff shaft and you like the results why would you go with a reg flex?
