Had absolutely ZERO feel compared to my Newport 2. I just happened to be at the shop and figured I'd tap it a few times to see what all the talk was about.

Much ado about nada, in my humble opinion.
I agree with you, but we seem to be in the minority. I've got the Yes Marilyn model. It sure rolls the ball nice, but zero feel or feedback. My 30 year old Anser gives me better feedback, but unfortunately doesn't roll the ball as true - due to my not-so-perfect putting stroke!
I've been sticking mainly with the Anser, but at times will go back to either an Odyssey 2-ball, SC Tei3 Newport 2, or even the Yes.

This is exactly what I found. It rolled it very nice, very true, but there was no - and when I say no, I mean absolutely no - feel. I could've been hitting the ball with a 10 foot long steel pipe for all the feedback that thing gave me.
I'd never leave my Scotty, but I was expecting a lot more from this putter for all the hype it's gotten.
What feedback do you need? Surely the point is to get the ball in the hole. If your stroke is in line and the putter puts a very true roll on it, what more could you ask for? By the time you "feel" anything, the ball has gone anyway, so it doesn't affect your touch. Does it? With a driver or an iron, I can see the point in getting feedback about where on the face you hit it, but with a putter, you can see where you hit it.
I appreciate that if a putter feels nice when you hit it, that's a good thing, but I'll take a putter that puts the ball in the hole before one that feels nice. I had a Newport 2 before and now use a Yes Callie. I just thought it felt different to the Scotty and I find I have trouble hitting it hard to get enough distance on it, but otherwise, it's an awesome putter at getting the job done.
What feedback do you need? On a putter? Surely you jest.
Feedback is the most important thing of all in a putter. You say you're having trouble hitting it hard enough with your Yes! - ever consider the fact that you're consistently missing the sweet spot? If you got feedback from the thing, you'd know.
I've got the Emma model and love it. I don't have any problem with the feel of the putter and its made me a much better putter overall. I've had several SC and tried various Odyssey's, Never Compromise, etc. No putter I have had would roll the ball like this one will and keep it on line. Distance control is easy and alignment is also.
From reading some of the responses above, maybe it is the model? There might be a Yes Marilyn in the classified section of GR in the coming days/weeks.
My next putter will either be a YES or a TaylorMade with the advantage going to the Yes putter.
Supply is somewhat limited in the LA area. I would like to demo at least 5 putters of the same model and length before I make make my selection of which one to buy.
Thanks,
Gary
I'm a bit biased, I got fit for a putter in their shop in Denver, I love my Emma, kinda ugly, but it feels awesome and I have never rolled the ball better. Only putter that felt better for me was thoes old never comp. putters that you could nic if you touched it with a tee, but again for me it's better than my Anser
When you compare the Scotty to the Yes (or any other putter for that matter) it will seem as though the other putters have "no" feel. The Yes has good feel IMO, not the greatest but good enough, but I wasn't willing to pay $100 extra for a little more feel.
