That was exactly the reason I didnt like it. I was hitting everything way left and the 3 and 4 irons were a little heavy for me. My Nike 3 & 4 irons feel better balanced. Don't get me wrong, the 804's were very easy to hit but just weren't for me.
The only set of irons I have ever owned besides junior irons, but I like them alot. Not the most forgiving irons, but it's helping me with my swing to know when I hit it bad since I have a lot of improving to do. (16 handicap)
1 - Ping Zing2
2 - Ping Zing
3 - Ping I3
Notwithstanding acndog's experience, I've loved the Zings and Zing2s. Now, if you want to talk about which clubs looked ugliest on first inspection.... I tried the Zings based on a friend's recommendation. They were hideous on #1 tee, looking okay by hole #9, and absolutely beautiful walking up to the last green. The I3s were pretty good, but the head was a little small for my tastes. Handicap 2
i've only had my 735s for a few days and am yet to play a round with them, but they inspire confidence everytime i set up with them (only hit Almost Golf balls with them so far). the HT's were good club that helped my game improve quite a bit. they just launched the ball way too high, i seemed to lose 1-2 clubs distance because of the constant ballooning shots. i owned several other sets growing up, Ping, Taylor Made, Wilson. but it's been so long since i've hit the others that i really can't remember too many specifics about them.
1. Nike Pro Combo
2. Ben Hogan Apex Plus
3. Wilson Who Knows
The Wilson's were my first serious set. I put them on eBay with no takers. I'm taking them to Golfsmith to trade in along with my Callaway Steelhead woods. The Hogan's felt nice - my first forged irons. They were too heavy for me though. The Nikes are good, but I wish they made a lefty set of all blades. I'd like to keep the longer irons a bit lower. Not an easy thing to do with a cavity back.

mizzoujames did you go straight from the 804s to the blades? if you did what handicap were you when you made the switch? i am in kind of the same boat in that im playin the ping i3+ irons and i hit the ball a mile high. im thinkin of going to the rac lt or the callaway xtour for less offset and to get the ball lower.
I went from the 804's to the I3's and I played those for about a month before those got traded in for the Nike Blades so yea I kinda went right into blades. To tell you the truth I was hitting the ball pretty badly and I doubted my choice at the time. Now I'm glad I made this switch as my game has improved alot. I was about a 12 hcp at the time.
