Looking for a hybrid, which one?

I'm looking to put a hybrid in the bag, most likely an 18*.
I've hit the Nike CPR scoop and like the feel of the club.
I'm looking for some info on other hybrids, likes/dislikes, etc.
thanks

I tried 2 hybrids and could never get good with them. They were TM Rescue Mids. I just traded them in on a TM VStell 3W to match my 5W. I am out of the hybrid business.

Try the Nickent Genex ironwoods. both me and my wife have them and love them. I've tried the Hogan's and the Taylormades and the Genex buy far are easier to hit. But try them all first, everyone is different....as are we..

I have a Taylor Made Rescue Dual, and my Dad has a Wilson Db6. I reckon the Wilson is far better, much easier to hit. It's an awesome club, and good enough for Padraig Harrington. Wilson doesn't get enough love. That thing is sweet to look at and even sweeter to hit.

I also plan to try a hybrid for the first time this season. Hybrids were huge last year. Each pro that I asked about them was using one and recommended getting one. The last pro practically insisted that I get rid of my fairway woods hehe. I want to keep the 3 wood and replace the 5 wood and 3 iron with a hybrid which allows me to get my other new toy...a gap wedge!

For the money, I think the Hogan is the best on the market.

I've been playing a Taylor Made Rescue Mid in 22* for about the past 3 months. I'm still undecided on it. Sometimes I hit it great, other times I hit this huge draw with what feels like the same swing.

I have the Callaway Heavenwood with the NV hybrid shaft in it. For me it is a great combo. THe head gets it up while the shaft keeps things under control. Great sound off the head too.

Put me down for recommending Nickent Genex hybrid. At least give it a try.

The Infiniti Hot Shot XS is a low profile hybrid that gives you a good mid Launch Angle and great distance. The original Hot Shot has a more forgiving face with a mid/high launch angle and was our top seller in hybrids for the 05' season with nothing but great reviews. One or the others will fit any golfer depending on what he needs....

Agreed, I've tried a bunch of different hybrids including the Nike CPR and nothing was as easy to hit as the Nickent. Although, I did hit the new Nike Slingshot hybrids at a golf show this weekend and they felt nice. Would like to try them on the range to get an accurate feeling.

I agree with gdel, Adams makes a nice hybrid that is 1)easy to hit and 2) fairly long. I have a 17* Idea graphite shaft hybrid that is good for shots 135-140 yards, and thats in the cold pacific northwest. The shape of the head instills confidence IMO. But of course the best thing is to demo all of the ones youre interested in at the range and pick your favorite.
