I was just wondering if anyone has used or knows anyone that has used the taylormade 540xd irons? I am wondering how good of a club they are?

A great club. IMO they are a very nice iron. I didn't have the extra money to spring for the OSII's so I got R540XD irons on ebay for $200 shipped. I love these irons. Before I bought my set of irons I did a little research and found on one website that the review was 4 out of 5. If you do decide to get these check out ebay. Thats the cheapest place I found them brand new.

Thanks I was just wondering why they are so cheap. They look like nice inexpesive clubs. Maybe I will have to go swing some and see how they feel.

do these clubs have an oversized club face? I cant justify spending the $$$ for a set of mizuno irons, but have also been looking at the TM R540xd's very appealing. I'm a beginner looking to start out with a modest inexpensive set
