within reason!, of course, ...where would you go and what would you buy for an upgrade! ( for me it is from a hodgepod set and knockoffs) new set of clubs....A chain golf store, the internet, a golf range shop etc?
and lets say i have $2 500 to spend on the whole set... what would fit in this price range....dreaming this rainy sunday....
That's a good question. I wouldn't spend anything else on clubs because I'm pretty happy with what I have now. What I would definitely do though, would be to go somewhere that specializes in expert fitting and have my clubs fine tuned to my swing. I would have them go through every club in my bag and see what could be done so that it could work for me even better. Simp

I would buy a new set of Cleveland Driver, and Fairway woods, and Mizuno irons custom fitted to my swing. Then I would take a few lessons from a Teaching Pro.
I have Taylor made RAC LT's form 2004, a little differnt than the curretn, with stiff graphite shafts, wouldnt trade those for any other club currently on the market. I have a Callaway Steelhead III 3 wood with a steel shaft, the only thing i would change (and am doing so as soon as i order the proper ferrul) is change the shaft to a Graffaloy prolight. I need to change my 5 wood to somthing that isn't a $6 knock off, probably either another Steelhead III or a V steel, Nike forged sandy wedge, and smeronn lagun II putter, those wont' change anytime soon. As far as drivers, i need to hit a unch to see what i want.
For you, your best bet is to go to a local shop, see what appeals to you and get it fitted to you, afterall what works for one person may not work for another.
My choice would be what I have in my bag. All that matters is you find the sticks that work the best for you. You might even find that they were not the most expensive.
