does an offset driver induce a pull or hook
good day forum readers.
posted a msge on new members notice board -but maybe better here. Am off to USA on Friday -saw Golfsmiths SanFrancisco have a launch monitor,so though it would be a great experience to buy a driver in USA. I have an occassionally slice but also pull + hook as well (lot's time straight though). Realize the problem is in my swing. Wandering if the Cobra M speed drivers with off set face- having a large sweet spot and choices of different shafts -would be a good buy. Only concern is will the offset increase the chances I end up hooking the ball more ? Plsd to hear Dutchie.

The idea of having an offset face is to reduce the slice. So if you hit a hook from time to time, it will only make things worse. Stick with a normal driver and learn what it is that is causeing you to hit a slice one time and a hook the next. As you mentioned, it's all in the swing.
