I played with a guy a couple of weeks ago who had Delta SL-500's. The 1000's must be a newer model. He was fairly new to the game, only been playing 4 months. They looked OK. Good set for someone new to the game. Offset with large cavity back. Wish I'd had a set that good when I started playing.
