was wondering if any of you have tried the new ft hybrid from callaway. they came out pretty recently and they look sweet. if you do own one what are your thoughts?

I just picked one up, it is a neutral 20* with the NVS stiff shaft. I took it out today and played. It is too early for a formal review but I can say I like it so far. It has a very solid feel and sound. I tried it off the tee, fairway and rough and it performed well. I have not been a fan of hybrids but i am going to give this one a chance. I will say that balls hit on center or towards the toe really have a nice flight but anything off the heel resulted in a pull for me.

How does it compare in looks to the old heavenwood? I love the way the heavenwood sits, that was the reason I bought it and not another hybrid. What about the sound? The heavenwood has a nie solid sound and feel....

I am glad to hear from someone who has played it. I have my Hogan CFT now but I have been considering making the switch since I am partial to Callaway. I guess I need to go check one out at my outlet.
