Some aldila shafts

Has anyone tried these tried these new aldila shafts. Well, i dont know how new the one is but i havent seen many of em. I am talking about the aldila prototype and the VS prototype blue shaft. Check the golfsmith website to look at em. Any thing you know about them if you could post would be great. Lookin to get some new shafts ASAP so pleas post! Also, i dont want to make a new thread for this, im lookin for a new vsteel shaft, i currentley have a M flex graphite in it, any recommendations of shafts or even what amount of torque i should look for? I normally draw the ball so im lookin for a shaft where i can go at it without getting worried about hooking it. Anything you know bout either of these please post!

haven't tried either of these two prototypes but have used the aldila prototype that was being used in the taylormade tour preferred series driver that a pro had me reshaft with a aldila nv, that there sort tells you something. i really couldn't see any difference from one to the other except that the prototype wasn't quite as stiff as the nv. this prototype was never for sale so i would think that this is the same version, or close to it, with a much higher price. stick with the nv or the nvs. the nvs is not near as stiff as the nv even though they both say stiff.

I have not hit on yet but they look a lot like the Aldila NV protopyte...not a typo...it was called the protopyte. It also has the same price. If your looking at anyshaft that has nano tubes I would go with the Accuflex Evolution.

I believe the protopyte was a Nano experimental shaft made by Aldila back in late 04' if this is the shaft your are talking about. Other then that I have not seen or test any of the proto's (too many of them out there).

If you are looking for a good fairway shaft that will allow you to put a good swing on it then I would suggest going with the AccuLAUNCH 80. Tip Stiff shaft with mid torque and mid to low launch. If you need to get the ball up alittle but want a shaft that can handle a good swing then I would look at the Icon FH which gives a more medium boring trajectory that tends to climb to its apex.
