Grip Question ???

I've always used Golf Pride...usually the tour velvet or cord grips. But I had a new Aldila Shaft put in my drive last year and they put a Lamkin on there.....not sure which model, its green. Anyway...just wondering if anybody could compare the Lamkin Crossline grips to the Golf Pride's as far as durability and feel goes. This green lamkin feels great, but it hasn't lasted long at all without tearing up. I'd like about the same feel but with greater durability. Any thoughts, experience???

Try a leather wrap. They will last a lifetime with just minimal care.

I've played both grips in both Golfpride and Lamkin. The Lamkin grips seemed just a tad softer, but the life of both were about the same for me.

If you like ultra soft grips, the Torsion Control grip is awesome, and probably what you were referring to with the green grip.

I got the lamkin crossline put on my driver today. We'll see how that feels for a couple of days or so then decide on some new one's for my irons, which will be going on with some new shafts.

I changed to radically different grips. I had a little slice that I could never quite get away from. I put Feel grips on all my clubs. They felt strange at first, but, almost immediately, I found that I was able to pronate the club better and that little slice disappeared.
