Talking regripping, what to buy?

im regripping my irons, fairways and wedges, i have all different kinds of grips now. my wedges are titliest cord, as well as my driver, my irons have soft golf pride rubbers...my grips are all in very bad shape. i havent regripped ever since i bought them! do you think i should match all 13 grips, or mix and match like i have been? i like the softer feeling grips like that of my irons but, should i stick with whats working? i dunno, im sorta thinking i should match all 13. what are the best grips out there? i think feel is most important, money is no issue. Oh and neither is durability, i want feel and comfort only...what would you fellas reccomend? thanks for your time friends! and keep firing at the flag!

Thanks, Marty

i like the gp victory cord or the v-55 (the ones that come stock on titleist 690 cb) my hands tend to get real sweaty in the summer time so the cords help alot plus to me cords last longer. On my drivers I use win grips, and on the putter its still the stock ping rubber grip ( the one Tiger uses on his scotty cam).Altho the winns dont last long its personal preference For some reason for woods the winns feel right. For this summer if you live in a warm climate region I recommend something with traction . try the v-55 its soft and grips well.

I just did my new R7XD's like all the rest of my clubs with Winn tour wraps. I live in So Cal and the weather is always somewhat perfect so if my hands sweat or get wet, I just dry them. After a few rounds, they develope this soft velvet feel to them (think Crown Royal purple bag softness) and they continue to get better. Now, this is all per personal preferance. I do not use a death grip at all and they have held up quite well. I use a size #7, could have went with a "6" but, the extra tad bit allows me to "caress" my clubs throughout my swing and if I tend to get over excited, they keep my wrists quiet just long enough to pull the trigger down the fairway. IMHO; Golfsmith has the rocking deal when it comes to getting $$$ & service done. As far as cord wraps and such, if you like the aftermath of torquing if gives your hands, by all means, have at it but, for me, it's all about the softness of it all.

There was a star grip on an old set of Taylormade Tour Preferred irons that I was hitting, and it felt kind of slick.... then again, it looked fairly well worn, and I didn't have a glove then, so...

My personal favourites are the GP V-55 Cords. I have one on my driver. Looking to eventually get my other woods done with these. On my irons, I have GP Tour Wrap Cords. My wedge still has the stock Mizuno GP Tour Velvet. I want to get my irons and wedge done with the Mizuno Blue Cords, but i' haven't gotten around to that yet. My putter has the stock Yes! grip, but as of tomorrow that's coming off - on goes a winn like this one:

I just took that grip off (Winn Excel AVS Medallist) and replaced it with the Winn Excel AI.

I found the Medalist too round and spongy, but the Winn Excel is much flatter on top for my thumbs and suits me much better
(a good mix between Winn's tackiness and the traditional flat top old putter grips)
