Fairway Woods

I'm looking for a 3 wood that is pretty forgiving but also one that has a lot of distance. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I couldn't live without my Taylormade r5 three wood. I use a regular flex shaft.
great off the tee, and nice off the grass. Sure, I miss hit it now and then, but that is my swing, not the club. When I hit it nice it really flies.
In fact, two of the guys I play with went and got the same club, and they love theirs too.

The Cleveland Launcher ti is the easiest and longest FW I've used, they don't make them anymore but you can still find some new and slightly used ones online. Like the previous post, although I haven't used one I've got a few buddies who swear by the R5 dual fairways.

Isn't that what we all want. I use the Nike Ignite T-60 3 wood. Very forgiving and long. I actually put away my driver for awhile because I was only getting a little more distance from it compared to my 3-wood. But then I learned how to hit my driver and back it came. The T-60 is great off the deck or on a tee. I've actually tried the SQ 3-wood and didn't see much difference so I'm sticking with the Ignite. Plus they're super cheap now, you could probably pick one up from ebay for around $100.

I've got a new unhit T-60 4 wood with stiff steel on the way from a reputable EBAY powerseller = $72.00 to my door, as of several days ago they still had 20 or so new ones available, buy-it-now priced at $99.99 and auctions starting at $59.99. If you check the links to retailers provided on the Nike website you can find new steel shafted versions available from $75.00 to $100.00 and graphite versions in the low $100 range, I don't know the shipping rates because I got the sweetheart deal on EBAY first. I hit the 3 wood at a local demo and loved it and I expect to love the 4 wood because of all the positive reviews and personal recommendations I've heard and read, I just don't feel comfortable recommending it until I actually put it into play for awhile.
