shaft for a boring trajectory

The trajectory I have in my irons is where the ball starts out high, stays up there for a while, then drops. In the wind, its useless.
I would like a trajectory of a more accomplished player, where the ball starts out low and gradually reaches its peak, then drops.

Is there a type of shaft that helps with this type of trajectory?

We need to know what shafts your playing now, and what irons before a recommendation could be made.

Whats your swing speed? Dynamic Gold shafts have a high kickpoint and normally low to medium trajectory, so if you hitting it high with that you may need some stiffer shafts.

that kind of trajectory isnt too bad playing courses with elevated greens. try playing the ball a tad back in your stance. also into the wind try practicing half shots with more club.

I also have dg s300 shafts in my irons and hit a high ball but still get good distance. 7 iron 175 carry...ALL carry, no roll. My pro says play it all day as long as you can. I thought about switching to dg x100 to bring the flight down a bit as I also suffer into the wind but after demoing them I still hit the ball almost as high and the feel was not nearly as good. I've resigned to the fact that no matter what you put in my hands I will figure out a way to hit the ball high. I play an 8.5* X 460 Tour with 757 X flex and still get the ball up there. Been playing 20 years this way, why change now? BTW, I'm a mid single digit hc.

Point is demo before changing shafts in your irons or you may be very dissappointed.

They are right, the height isn't going to hurt you at all. Have you ever seen a pro hit his irons in person? They hit the ball alot higher then we think they do which allows them to add alittle more touch on the ball.

Now with that being said, if you feel you need to change the trajectory some I can adjust a Rifle Blank to hit the ball higher, mid or lower to the golfers liking. You can go with a lower trajectory on your longer irons and a mid to high trajectory on your lower irons.
