Is there any difference between these?

No, Musclebacks and Blades are the same type of clubhead.

A muscleback is commonly referred to, and in a way, is a type of blade. However, they do differ:

Muscleback:

True Blade:

The muscleback has more of a... well... muscle in the back.

BKG...I'll take it one step farther. Below is a picture of two 2-iron heads I just had rechromed. The Power Bilt is about as true of a blade as you can get. No extra mass at the sweet spot. The Titleist is the muscleback with extra weight concentrated behind the sweet spot. This makes it easier to work the ball. But for all intense purposes, the two names are now equal.

That Powerbilt above is just about a true blade... there is not a true blade that is manufactured today as far as I know.

I tried to find another picture of that Powerbilt to use in my "description", but couldn't... the next best thing I could find was the KZG.

Do you have any examples of true blades, Kevin?? Any pictures, or model names from the past?

You are right. It makes much more sense, now. I was looking at that phrase and thought to myself that it could not be right but I posted it anyway.
