List here from your experiences the balls that you have found to have the most feel and spin around the greens. I know the Pro-V1 is probably the best but I can't justify paying 44 bucks a dozen just for good spin. Any cheaper alternatives?
Just experiment buying only 3 packs of balls. Lots of fun too. If you go to the ball web sites there is a ton of info on spin vrs. hardness vrs distance.
The Noodle makes a very high spin ball that are very inexpensive and as the previous poster said the NXT Tour as well.
Balls react different to different golfers. Experiment.

If you would like a ball to spin but lose some distance, try the Maxfli Revolution Tour. It's not a bad ball and it's cheap.
I sometimes hit my daughters Top flight XL-3000's "Long & soft" model. Not a bad ball for $12 for 15 at Walmart. Hit almost as good as my Bridgestone balls that I paid $30 a dozen at Golfsmith.
Try this website. It's an independant rating system for different carachteristics such as distance, spin, feel, price, etc. It can be sorted high to low in each of these catagories. Interested to hear what everyone thinks. Write your responses to what you think.
if you really want pro v's, ebay has many. lostgolfballsretail is absolutley the best seller for balls. there mid grade is many seller's top grade. average cost, $15 to $20 per doz.
