Kenneth Smith Clubs

Do we have any members here playing these fine clubs? I had used a set a few times back in the late 80's or early \90's and they were sweet!!! They had to make the finest Persimmon woods around at that time.

I was on the web site and its hard to tell what they are about today. Looks like the irons are true Made in USA but my guess is the woods are now off-shore.

Any info is appreciated. I will call them in the next couple of days and add to this thread what they said.

Kenneth Smith was a KC, KS based company. They closed about a year or so ago. Sold name, rights and inventory to Raven Golf.

Innovex is the sole manufacturer based in KC - which is too bad, as KS did some good stuff.

Why is this too bad. If you are Innovex and are manufacturing K.S. that sounds good to me!!!

Are the irons on the K.S. web site forged?

There is a seller on ebay (proshopwarehouse) that sells several sets of KS clubs and Wood Brothers clubs - two names who made some great clubs in the past but are now defunct or not the original company. Don't know if the KS clubs are old stock or new stock from Raven (did not know they bought KS) golf.

brian ... because we should have a couple of manufacturers in KC. But, yes, you are correct in that sense.
